🔁 REFUND & RETURNS POLICY

At The Infinite Bargain Bin, we aim to provide a fair, transparent, and reliable shopping experience. This Refund & Returns Policy forms part of our Terms of Service, and should be read together with our Shipping Policy and Privacy Policy.
By placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below.
🔄 30-DAY RETURN WINDOW
You may request a return within 30 days of confirmed delivery.
To be eligible:
- Item must be unused, unworn, and in original condition
- Original packaging and tags must be included
- Proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt) is required
We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.
📦 RETURN AUTHORISATION (MANDATORY)
All returns must be approved in advance.
To initiate a return:

- Include your order number and reason for return
We will respond within 2–3 business days.
If approved, you will receive:
- Return instructions
- Return address
- Shipping guidance
⚠️ Unauthorized returns will not be accepted or refunded.
🚚 RETURN SHIPPING RESPONSIBILITY
We Cover Return Shipping If:
- Item is damaged, defective, or incorrect
- Issue is reported within required timeframe
Customer Covers Return Shipping If:
- Change of mind
- Incorrect size, variant, or product selected
Original shipping costs are non-refundable, unless due to our error.
⚠️ DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE, OR INCORRECT ITEMS
You must report issues within 48 hours of delivery.
Provide:
- Clear photos/videos of the item
- Description of the issue
We will prioritize:
- Replacement; or
- Full refund (where applicable)
Failure to report within this timeframe may result in denial of the claim.
❌ NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
The following items are not eligible for return:
- Perishable goods (food, plants, flowers)
- Custom or personalized items
- Personal care items (for hygiene reasons)
- Hazardous materials
🏷 SALE ITEMS & GIFT CARDS
- Sale items are final sale, unless defective or required by law
- Gift cards are non-refundable
🔁 EXCHANGES
We do not process direct exchanges.
To receive a different item:
- Submit a return request
- Place a new order once approved
💸 REFUNDS
Once your return is received and inspected:
- You will be notified of approval or rejection
- Approved refunds are processed within 7–15 business days
Refunds are issued to your original payment method.
If this is not possible, we may issue:
- Store credit; or
- Alternative refund method
⚠️ Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
⏳ LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS
If you have not received your refund after 20 business days:
- Contact your bank or payment provider
- Then email us at theinfinitebargainbin@gmail.com
🚫 NON-REFUNDABLE SITUATIONS
Refunds will not be granted in the following cases:
- Delivery delays within stated timeframes (see Shipping Policy)
- Incorrect address provided by the customer
- Failure to collect or accept delivery
- Minor product variations (color, size, appearance)
- Dissatisfaction due to unmet expectations not based on defects
- Orders cancelled after the 12-hour cancellation window
⚖ ORDER CANCELLATIONS
Orders may only be cancelled within 12 hours of placement.
After this:
- Orders are already in processing or fulfilment
- Cancellation requests may be denied
📦 SHIPPING & DELIVERY ALIGNMENT
All shipping-related matters are governed by our Shipping Policy.
By placing an order, you acknowledge:
- Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees
- Delays do not qualify for refunds within stated timeframes
- Risk transfers to you once the order is handed to the carrier

To protect against fraud and chargebacks:
- We may request evidence before approving refunds
- All transactions, communications, and delivery confirmations may be used in dispute resolution
- Abuse of refund requests or chargebacks may result in order refusal or account restriction
By purchasing from us, you agree to contact us first and allow reasonable time for resolution before initiating a payment dispute.
🇪🇺 EU CUSTOMER RIGHTS
For orders shipped to the European Union:
You are entitled to a 14-day cooling-off period, allowing cancellation or return for any reason.
Items must still:
- Be unused
- Be in original condition

This policy operates in accordance with applicable laws, including the Consumer Protection Act (South Africa).
Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights.
